Gamel's journey in the realm of social service began with a role as a job coach, where he provided invaluable support to the community under the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of the diverse needs and complexities within the behavioral health landscape.

 

With a commitment to continuous growth and expertise, Gamel pursued certifications as a Certified Anger Management & Behavior Modification Specialist, Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider, and a Certified Cognitive Behavior Coach, specializing in anxiety. These qualifications equip him with the knowledge and tools to address a wide range of behavioral and mental health concerns with compassion and efficacy.

 

Furthermore, Gamel is a distinguished American Heart Association CPR & BLS Instructor, enhancing his ability to provide comprehensive care and support in both emergency and non-emergency situations.

 

Gamel's leadership extends beyond his current role, as he previously served as a Supervisor of two Adult Mental Health Acute Crisis Stabilization Units at the Georgia Regional State Hospital. In this capacity, he demonstrated exceptional managerial skills and a steadfast commitment to fostering environments of healing and growth for individuals in crisis.
