PASTOR , IT PROFESSIONAL

ABOUT

Pastor Brian A. McCrory Sr. is a 56-year-old husband of 25 years to “Lovely” his wife, Christel, and a father to his 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

A 30-year IT professional in the world of Infrastructure Design and Advanced IT Recovery.

Also worked diligently and in a multitude of ways to bring lost Souls to the Lord. Logged countless hours of formal training in the word of God, work of the ministry, as well as economic and community development.  The goal was to always have a positive impact on impoverished communities.

Born the 2nd of 4 sons always had a heart for ministry/serving. As a young boy, Sunday after Sunday, imitated church service in the home because there was no car. Brothers and cousins dubbed him “the preacher”. He had no idea then, that he was practicing for what would later be confirmed as a “calling to ministry”.

He’s always identified as a “protector” type personality so, it’s no surprise he ended up in the military. He began by working with his mother in early childhood education in his spare time simply because of a passion for children. A Cub Scout, Boy Scout and then on to the inevitable…serving in the US Army.

Through many of life’s trials and challenges, he found his way to exercising the gifts that God had planted in him for Kingdom use. He received salvation in April of 1991 at a small bible study in Russellville, Ky. After serving faithfully under leadership for over 25 years, the Lord saw fit to dispatch he and his wife, into birthing a small place to worship called Solomon’s Temple Christian Ministries (STCM) in Jonesboro, GA.

Through STCM, the desire was to “unchurch” the mindset of the believer from “Church Tradition to Bible Truth”. Standing on the word of the Lord, and his word: “being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in (him/me/us) will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ;”

Brian lost his only son Brian Jr. in November 2020 to Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy just before his 27th Birthday. His son was a motivation for so many goals in life and something shifted in him after he passed.  He began to feel like there was something else for him to do.

In this season, hearing from his friends and brothers Julio Lidalen and Nate Goggins who he’s known now for almost 19 years that they submitted his name to a Veteran led organization called: “Aerial Recovery” with the mantra: “A Force for Good” was overwhelming. They said and I quote: “Dude…you HAVE to go!”  He now is a field operator supporting the response to global disasters and human trafficking bringing in some of the most notorious predators to justice. Also serving in the “Heal the Heroes” program that reshapes and repurposes veterans struggling to readjust to civilian life after combat.
